Shane Won Murphy

Shane Won Murphy is a Vice President of Commercial Leasing and Sales working from the BRC Beverly Hills office in collaboration with premier team of brokers headed by managing partner, Houman Mahboubi. He has over ten years of experience in real estate and project development. Over the past six years, Shane has honed his focus on evaluating trendy and affluent consumer trade areas across Southern California, San Francisco, Chicago, and the emerging consumer markets in Prague, Krakow, Warsaw, Budapest, and Bratislava, working with high-concept restaurants, chain retailers, contemporary fitness and wellness concepts, hospitality groups, and entertainment/night club venues.

Especially in Los Angeles, Shane recognizes the value of off-market opportunities and thus, he is constantly forging industry relationships to acquire information not readily available to other brokers. Shane manages a team of agents and assistants that aid in developing his vast network of contacts, opportunities, and intelligence.

Shane also specializes in navigating conditional use permits, liquor licenses, business/asset sales, atypical use conversions, and creative build-outs. His greatest skill lies in pairing his client's concept with the locations best fit to actualize their vision and optimize their success. In the past two years alone, he has participated in over $55 million in transactions.
Prior to joining BRC Advisors, Shane developed commercial and residential construction projects with Urban Pacific West. At the University of California Santa Barbara and the University of California Los Angeles, Shane focused his studies on the phenomena of global trends in major metropolitan areas as it relates to commerce, mass media, and the arts.
